Dinosaur Provincial Park is situated near Drumheller, about 130 km northeast from Calgary. This area is also known as Canadian Badlands. The Horse Shoe Canyon overlook is the first interesting stop along the road from Calgary just before it descends into the Drumheller Valley. The Royal Tyrrell Museum is situated at the edge of the park, 6 km from Drumheller. In the centre of Drumheller one can find the World's largest dinosaur.
